Stuffed Mackerels or Bangda in Reichado Masala


Ingredients:
6 mackerels Clean fish well and slit the sides open
Grind in vinegar:
12 dry red chillies
8 peppercorns
12 flakes of garlic
¼ tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp coriander seeds
¼ inch piece of turmeric
½ tsp sugara
small ball (marble-size) tamarinda
pinch or two of salt

Method:Grind the above ingredients and stuff this Masala into each mackerel and fry in hot oil. Alternatively the Bangdas can be rolled in Rava (Semolina) and fried.
